Having a plan means setting goals and projecting out milestone steps that will help you achieve your goals.
The purpose of this session in our Program is to get you visualising your ideal future for both you personally and for your business. Your future is in your hands; how your life plays out could often be determined by how clear your vision is and what action you take to achieve your dreams. This session is all about you discovering your ideal future.
To help you build a vision for your life, we focus on four vital life areas:
We believe all three of these areas equally contribute to your ability to envision, plan out and act on your ideal future both within your personal and professional life.

A plan is an essential tool because it’s the foundation to help you help your personal and professional objectives and big picture goals. Only you know what to achieve; whether you commit to it and complete it or not will be determined by how effectively you plan and implement the actions that support the plan.

The self is the combination of all of the things that make you up, your thinking, emotions, physical self, actions, and behaviours. It’s the emotional, intellectual and spiritual aspects of you, as a human, that drives your development personally and actualises to become your reality, in other words, personality how you show up in the world.

The author of Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill, identifies the first fundamental principle of financial success: to become clear of what you want (your vision). An exciting concept he’s proven has worked for thousands of successful leaders. The second principle he identifies is to be determined, so determined; you don’t let anything get in the way of achieving them. Determination, we have found, comes from creating a vision that aligns with your purpose and values.
A vision is a clear picture of what you want to achieve. So many of us cruise through life, without really clarifying what we want out of it. As a result, we often try many pathways that lead to no real destination.
Why? Because we haven’t taken the time to define what the ideal goal is for ourselves.
[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://www.learnivation.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/unnamed-5.jpg” title_text=”unnamed (5)” align=”center” _builder_version=”4.5.7″ _module_preset=”default” border_radii=”on|22px|22px|22px|22px”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.5.7″ _module_preset=”default”]
It’s much easier to move in the direction other people are leading us. It’s human nature to be led by the people we trust in our lives. Research suggests that we tend to unconsciously imitate the people around us in a phenomenon researchers have termed the chameleon effect in social situations.
The Journal of Personality and Social Psychology published a study on the Chameleon effect, the phenomena where they witness strangers unintentionally match strangers’ motor behaviours working on a task together. This same study proved that when individuals had empathy for each other, they exhibited the chameleon effect to a greater extent. How does this apply to your vision?
Imagine the impact that people you know, love, and trust could be having on your behaviour unconsciously!
This effect is easily witnessed in a conversation; when we have a trusted connection with another person, we are more likely to behave in the way others behave, nonconscious mimicry of the postures, mannerisms, facial expressions, and other behaviours of one’s interaction partners, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) calls this matching and mirroring. It’s a tool conscious communicators use to create better connections and more trust when communicating.

If we aren’t careful, it’s effortless for us to take people’s actions and behaviours of our friends, family, co-workers, business partners. Equally as easy is it for us to absorb the thinking and beliefs of those we know and trust; our core beliefs are proof of this; our brains have absorbed these automatically within our childhood development periods.
In light of this effect, we need to take time out to reflect on how our current thinking, beliefs and actions are impacting our future.
It’s equally essential to work out what we want for our futures outside of the influence of those we know, even more so those we like, love and trust.
When you are on someone else’s path, you may feel that something is missing from your life, because ultimately you’ll be following someone’s purpose, not your own.
Should you design your business or select a career before you get clear on your vision, you could be at risk of creating a business or ending up in a career that doesn’t work with your desired lifestyle, personal priorities or commitments. For example, you could design a business that requires you to work within it long hours when you only want to work part-time and have more time for your family.

To create a pathway to support you staying on purpose, we start by discovering your vision; we do this by considering your ideal lifestyle and linking these to your commitments, what you’re good at, what you love to do and where you can be rewarded both financially and energetically. Once we have a clear picture of your future, you can start to design or upgrade your work or business model to best your personal goals and fits within your ideal life.
We believe that discovering your ideal business or work should start with working out what your perfect life is overall. Once you have a clear understanding of this, you can strategically design your work life and or business to help you build and live your ideal life.
As you work to design your future, you will learn a range of creative thinking techniques. We will learn how to use creative thinking to work through thinking blocks in both life and work, so you’re empowered to create and achieve your goals.
